The Wachtmeister style has changed the collective imagination of its enthusiasts, offering a new vision of the relationship between nature, animals and art. This unique and unmistakable style represents a constant source of inspiration for many, whose maximum expression is the Wachtmeister artistic residence, originally created by Rosina and renewed by her nephew Battista Rea in perfect continuity.

The residence, furnished with colorful ceramics and decorated with countless mosaics, is immersed in nature, in a valley of about 6 hectares. It hosts art exhibitions and participatory art courses, performances and courses, as well as being the home of numerous animal and plant species.

The pieces created in the Wachtmeister Lab are made through a creative direction inspired by the wonders of nature and a fantastic and colorful vision of the world around us. They aim to bring the art-nature union into people’s homes and all the places where they will be hosted.

Rosina Wachtmeister, despite her venerable age, continues to carry on her artistic production, contributing to the activities of the residence and the laboratory. Despite the time goes on, and despite having created hundreds and hundreds of works depicting different subjects, Rosina’s iconic cats continue to represent her great love.
